Concise and conversational, Melissa Maker, whom I didn't know existed until I heard her as a guest on episode #39 of Young House Love Has a Podcast entitled How to Make House Cleaning Suck a Little Less, which I'm all for.I am not terribly into sitting around and watching videos like that. I imagine it being like Molly Weasley hunting for how Gilderoy Lockhart suggests to properly de-gnome your garden.Containing both DIY cleaner recipes and thoroughly detailed cleaning instructions, room-by-room, and a table/chart in the back (or downloadable via a link provided by the publisher in the Kindle version), I found this to be a modern day How-to book properly in line with my expectations. Who'd of thought someone could actually make cleaning something that wasn't right up there with having your fingernails ripped out? I'm halfway through the book, which is an amazingly easy read, and actually, dare I say, can't wait to get cleaning.
